QUOTATIONS

All quotations provided by Roman Road Marking are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided to us at the time and may be subject to change if site conditions differ from those described.

A quotation does not constitute a contract. A contract is formed only when we provide written confirmation of acceptance of your order.

SERVICES

We will carry out all work with reasonable skill and care in accordance with relevant British Standards, including BS EN 1436 for road markings where applicable. All work is subject to suitable weather conditions and site access.

We reserve the right to subcontract any part of the work where necessary, while maintaining responsibility for quality and compliance.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment terms will be agreed as part of the quotation process. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due for payment within 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may be subject to a cancellation charge to cover mobilisation costs.

LIABILITY

Roman Road Marking holds public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the value of the contract in question.

We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, or anticipated savings. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing surface defects, adverse weather conditions during or after application, or third-party interference with completed work.

GUARANTEES

The durability of road markings depends on traffic volume, surface condition, weather and other factors. We do not guarantee a specific lifespan for markings but will use appropriate materials and application methods for the conditions described. If you believe work has been completed below acceptable standards, please contact us within 14 days of completion.
